Prior to starting her own tutoring business, Kate was an academic and youth service specialist for a high school enrichment program at San Diego State University, an instructor for the early college program at the University of San Diego, and a coordinator for the American Indian Recruitment Program, a nonprofit that offers academic support and counseling to American Indian students in grades K through 12.
Kate has 10+ years of experience in the field of education and youth development, working as a tutor, mentor, teacher, college counselor, and an advocate for students with learning disabilities. She completed Catholic University’s tutor certification program at the Kingsbury Institute in Washington, D.C., where she was trained to assist students with learning disabilities.
